Quick Survey- what are you riding?

Which bike are you bringing to LBL? Please post. Right now, with my total lack of fitness, I think I should be in the back of eDBiLLy's pickup (the support vehicle), drinking beer & eating peanuts. I suppose I'll ride Ventoux.

Newish Faithful - Giant OCR Comp 2.
It's in the shop right now, following my crash yesterday, which leaves me with even less training than eDLoNNie. The bike and my wrist should both be useable by Saturday.

Depends on the forecast. If it is going to be really windy, Surly Cross Check single speed (same one I rode on Shnoctoberfest). If it is only breezy or not so windy 1977 Raleigh fixie. Either way it will be a one geared bike.

B-BiLLy, what the heck happened? How'd you crash? Snakebite, I may be riding the Guerciotti fixie- I just checked the forecast, and it looks like it'll be a banner day!

Stupid mistake (I don't think I've ever made a "smart" one): too far to the right, no shoulder, cross wind. Off the edge, steering back left for balance, the front wheel dug in to the edge, whereupon I had a prompt meeting with the pavement. Dusted off, blood was only from my fingers, so I rode back 5 miles to my neighborhood Acute Care clinic. Cleaned up the cuts & road rash and Xrays showed no break. I came out lucky: no cast, the bike has only a scuff... and the helmet did it's job by cracking.
